SDK Engineering Powers Industrial Electrification with AMPHERR Batteries

SDK Engineering specializes in converting industrial non-road machinery into hybrid and fully electric solutions, helping customers reduce emissions and extend the service life of existing equipment.

To support its electrification projects, SDK selected AMPHERR as its battery partner due to the company's broad portfolio of battery systems, flexible voltage options, and reliable delivery performance.

A recent project involved the retrofit of a piling rig featuring a 250 kW electric motor, a Stage V diesel engine, and 508 kWh of AMPHERR battery capacity. The solution enables cleaner operation while maintaining the performance required for demanding construction applications.

Additionally, this is a zero-emission machine that can operate 100% electrically. This goes beyond using cleaner energy, as the machine is capable of fully electric operation without emissions.

Since the start of the collaboration, SDK Engineering has integrated AMPHERR batteries into 8 to 9 electrification projects, deploying approximately 2.5 MWh of battery capacity across various machine types and configurations.
