When Trova launched a diesel-to-electric repowering project for heavy-duty trucks, the company needed a battery partner that could deliver a certified, reliable, and adaptable solution within a demanding timeframe.
AMPHERR responded quickly, identifying a battery system that met the project requirements and could be delivered on schedule. The battery pack was integrated seamlessly into the vehicle, providing reliable operation and supporting the project's certification requirements, including ECE R100 compliance.
Throughout the implementation phase, the engineering teams from Trova and AMPHERR worked closely together to ensure a successful vehicle launch. Any technical challenges encountered during commissioning were resolved rapidly through a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
Beyond the successful deployment, Trova was particularly impressed by AMPHERR's battery portfolio flexibility. A visit to AMPHERR's manufacturing facility in Istanbul highlighted the company's advanced quality systems and flexible production capabilities, which enable battery packs to be configured in a wide variety of dimensions and formats to suit specific vehicle applications.
Building on the success of the first project, Trova is already planning the next generation of its electric truck platform. The future design will utilize a customized L-shaped battery configuration that integrates even more efficiently into the vehicle chassis, demonstrating the adaptability of AMPHERR's battery technology for demanding commercial vehicle applications.

When DLS set out to develop an innovative solid oxide fuel cell electric truck, the company needed a partner capable of transforming customer requirements into robust and reliable technical solutions. AMPHERR supported the project from the early concept phase through detailed engineering, contributing to system design, technical development, and component integration. The solution combines a solid oxide fuel cell range extender with an electric truck platform, featuring AMPHERR's LTO battery technology, power distribution unit, and key power electronics components.
The vehicle is designed to charge the AMPHERR battery system while in operation, using the fuel cell as an onboard energy source. During high-power demand situations, the battery delivers the required peak power, creating an efficient and highly capable electrified powertrain.
By combining DLS's innovative vision with AMPHERR's engineering expertise and battery technology, the project demonstrates how strong partnerships can accelerate the development of next-generation sustainable transportation solutions.
